xīn nián kuài lè -- Happy New Year!

  1. Happy New Year! Hope you guys are having better weather for the holiday than they are in China.

  2. That is a pretty busy picture!
I hear it is the year of the rat?

  3. Hi Cahleen!

Happy New Year! How are you doing?

    Love you and miss you!

  4. Nancy,

It has been so cold in Taipei! About 6 degrees Celsius. I know it doesn't sound that cold, but it's been raining for the past two weeks too. Luckily, we spent our New Year's vacation in the south -- Kaohsiung, Pingdong, Tainan, and Kenting. =)

How right you are! It is the year of the rat. However, in Chinese the word for "rat" and "mouse" are the same, so most people over here say year of the mouse (it's just cuter).

Thanks for checking up on me! I'm doing well, but I need to get on track with a lot of things. I'll be in touch. Miss ya! =)
