Our Chinese New Year

I finally got our photos from Chinese New Year up! Ian and I spent the week with friends down in south Taiwan. It was so depressing coming back to the cold, rainy weather of Taipei! Some of the places we visited were Pingdong, Neipu, Kenting, Tainan, and Kaohsiung. Go here to see the pictures, or enjoy the nice slide show below.

  1. Great blog, nice pictures.
I also live in Taiwan and keep a (bilingual) site about Taiwan. Have a look if you have time and feel free to contact me :-)

  2. That was great!
You know I loved the pictures of the food--great assortment.
Looks like your man has a sense of humor and ya'll look like you had a fantastic time.
Enjoy those times of freedom before the critters come along. That is if you are planning on having critters. :)

  5. Hi Cahleen, Thanks for your comment on my blog! I actually download Biggest Loser (and all the other tv shows they don't show here)from the internet using torrents--I think that's what they're called. Scott Pagel (from SQJ Taipei) introduced me to it. He's very cutting edge when it comes to technology so he might have a new and improved way to get the shows now, but that's what I use. Just be careful because sometimes the sites have trashy ads.
    Stay Warm!

  6. Andrea,

It's great to meet you! I'll come over and check out your blog.

    Sharon,

You always know what to say to bring a smile to my face! I'm sure there will be critters one day. ;)

    Kimmie,

Whenever I see interesting rocks I'll take a picture for you. =)

    Sandy,

We enjoyed our time at your house, too! You and Michael are welcome any time.

    Jen ren,

I have used torrents before, but I never tried it with TV shows. I'll give it a try!
